This shirt is based on Carl Sagan’s speech on the finiteness and minuteness of our lives on Earth. It’s one of my favourite speeches of all time.

For those who don’t know Carl Sagan, he is an astronomer who was a teacher of physics and astronomy to the general public. He had the unique ability to place these discoveries in the context of our lives. This speech demonstrates that.
